It has 3 modes for different applications: laundry drying - dehumidification - silent.
You can choose the desired humidity between 35% and 95% yourself (depending on the mode).
A room humidity of approx. 50% is recommended for a pleasant feeling of well-being.
The ideal choice for offices, bedrooms, kitchens, garages or basements.
What do you actually need a dehumidifier for?
If the windows of a house are leaky or the thermal insulation of the outer wall or roof is insufficient, then particularly high humidity can arise. In the long term, this results in an unhealthy indoor climate and, for example, mold can form in the affected rooms. This can often be a problem, especially in historic buildings and old buildings. Here, the rooms can be dried and protected from mold using a dehumidifier, targeted ventilation and heating.
Long showers or cooking without sufficient ventilation can also lead to significantly increased humidity. R290 is not harmful to the ozone layer and, thanks to its low GWP (Global Warming Potential) value of 3, does not contribute negatively to the greenhouse effect.
! NOTE on automatic dehumidification!
If the humidity of the ambient air is greater than or equal to +3% of the target humidity, the compressor switches on and the fan runs at the set speed. After dehumidification, if the humidity of the ambient air is less than or equal to -3% of the target humidity, the compressor switches off and the dehumidification process is finished.
The device now pauses for about 30 minutes before the ambient air is checked again for humidity.
As soon as the ambient air humidity is again greater than or equal to +3% of the target humidity, the compressor switches on again. In this way, the ambient air humidity remains at the target humidity according to the operating cycle described above.
